Earth’s systems are rapidly changing with rising dangers for human and natural systems worldwide. The Ecosecurity Council is a non-profit policy research partnership to pinpoint cascading ecospheric risks and prepare for an insecure future. We look at the major indicators and drivers of deterioration, from climate change to biodiversity loss to resource sufficiency, how these factors interact, and the implications for the security and stability of societies and nations.
Our work includes foresight analysis, scenario exercises and planning, policy research and recommendations, polity outreach, and bridging the gap between science and governance. We aim to support and shape public policy, public opinion, private companies, and non-governmental organizations, in collaboration with partners in the United States and around the world.
